My name is Ava and I'm a Brazilian creator currently based in Marseille, France.
My work is an ongoing exploration of beauty, materials, spirituality, and self. It’s a path where my unconscious connects what is around me into surprises. Having trained in Fashion Design, after my early studies in architecture, I’ve worked in many roles: as a designer, pattern maker, studio manager, model, and massage therapist in Paris. In late 2023, I moved to the south of France, seeking to leave the retrograde fashion industry and create my own space as an independent creator.
My inspiration comes from subjectivities and rituals that have allowed me to experiment within myself different expressions and desires through transformative periods of my life, materializing my connections within the dualities of places, feelings, cultures, and so on. My creations receive their energy as I see them as a process of manifestation of beauty, empowerment, desire and healing. Nurture lies in nature, felt through the femininity of the Mediterranean Sea to memories of the Atlantic Forest mountains close to my hometown.
I have always embraced a multidisciplinary approach to my creative process, allowing various forms of expression to merge into an evolving narrative. In 2021, I began exploring jewelry as a natural extension of my work, crafting each piece by hand and guided by intuition. It was through this exploration that I was introduced to the transformative power of lithotherapy, leading me to discover hematite—my initial material of choice for its rich history and healing properties. Along time, it has gained a lot of space in my life and is one of my favorite practices to share.

IN ANCIENT EGYPT IT WAS USED IN MEDICINE FOR THE TREATMENT OF WOUNDS AND BLOOD-RELATED DISORDERS BY INCREASING THE LEVELS OF BLOOD PRODUCTION BY IRON STIMULATION
